We has fortune cookies in Nursery this morning. We had to snap open the biscuit, and inside was a special message. Fame and fortune will soon be on its way for some.

There has been a lot of interest in speaking Chinese, and Chinese writing. can your child remember how to say hello?

One of the children has built a Disney Castle with an F on the wall.

We’re created plans of a rocket, and now we are building rockets. After watching rockets taking off and landing on the moon NASA needs to prepare for some new engineers from Blackpool. We have learned so many new words already this year, and know what near and far means.

We have been exploring using lamps in the Atelier after we noticed lots of shadows. You could explore at home with a lamp, and make shadow puppets. Bendable lamps are best!

We’ve had some moon sand in a tray, and have been making moon rocks by squeezing really hard! it’s great fun.

Father Christmas came to our party! We were so excited and promised to keep being really good…. or trying to be!

We had an amazing time at our party yesterday. We danced, and played games, and ate a lot!

We were amazed by our special visitor Ariel!

One of our little artists chose to use the plasticine to make 3d figures. we found somewhere special to display them.

We’ve been using watercolours and different shades of green to create our observational drawings of sprouts. A group of boys were fascinated by what a sprout looked like inside. One child said it looked like it had seeds in.No-one wanted to taste sprouts though!

It’s that time of year again!

Nursery are very excited at the thought of playing the racing pig game, and winning some sweets.

You can buy a beautiful decoration handmade by your child for 30p.

And possibly even see a very special visitor.

The dress rehearsal and today’s performance were wonderful. I’m sure it will be just as magical tomorrow.

We have been very busy helping out in Santa’s Workshop today…

We used problem solving, thinking & discussion skills to work together to wrap presents – it is a very tricky task!

We wrote labels for presents, worked out how to hold the paper whilst getting sticky tape and even decorated the…
