At Mereside Primary Academy all children are assigned to one 'house'.
Our houses, chosen by the children in September 2020 are:
AIR WATER
FIRE EARTH
Each child that joins our school is assigned to a house. When they earn tokens in class for showing they are following our expectations of:
- Be Kind
- Be Safe
- Be Ready
They add this to the whole school collection. The house with the most tokens get to attend a 'house party'.
Children will wear their house colour in their PE lesson. During Sports Day, the house with the most points gets to have their colour on the Sports Day trophy for the following year.
