Welcome to our Nurture and Behaviour for Learning suite
The Galaxy
We have two members of staff who run our 'Galaxy'. Mrs Miller and Mr Mooney. They work with individual pupils or groups of people to develop skills in line with the Resilience Framework.
This learning area has undergone a transformation over the past two years, having been designed by students while they were in year 6 to be used by any child who may need it. There is a working toaster, kettle, fridge and cooker; a range of lighting; a large interactive portal screen; bike repairs workshop and school's lunch time 'Bee club' is held in here every lunch for UKS2.
Alongside the human staff, we also have our therapy dog Fudge who works in the Galaxy. Fudge spends her weekend living with Mr and Mrs Lydon and spends her day working with children from across school with Mrs Miller and Mr Mooney. She loves our children and the children love her.
